		<description>Marc - I&#039;m surprised I didn&#039;t see your previous posts about Standout Jobs, but I did find this one through Twitter. I&#039;m glad I did, because it gives me the chance to respond.

Thank you first for posting about Standout Jobs - I always appreciate open dialogue, including that which covers our business and product.

This marketing campaign is not panic - but an offer we made to people who signed up for our original version of Standout Jobs - to get them interested in testing the latest version. This offer was made to a select and small group of potential customers. Given the tough economic times that most companies are facing, it&#039;s clear that companies are price sensitive.

We&#039;ve seen our customers - who launch well-designed and maintained career sites and recruitment micro-sites - gain increased traffic, higher quality applicant flow and increased value over time. Those aren&#039;t made up results, they&#039;re the truth.

The product is easy to use - we have many customers that update and manage their sites on their own on a daily basis.

Also, in a previous post you wrote about some of the negatives of Standout Jobs:

1. The domain -- http://companyx.standoutjobs.com -- you can in fact map this to your own domain. Many customers do. Examples: http://jobs.well.ca or http://jobs.apption.com.

2. Candidates have to register first, before applying -- this is no longer the case with the latest version of our product. We understood customer feedback and responded to it.

On a side note, we&#039;re based in Canada (not the US)...
