James,
Instead of touting your product you should take a long and hard look at its fundamental shortcoming, its complete uselessness for job seekers. Irrespective if a job seeker has something to hide or not, pruning search results from Google with Google just one click away is utter lunacy. A recruiter wouldn't be earning his/her paycheck if the SearchMe button would be the only online reference made. More realistically the first point of reference would instead be a Google search. As a result the SearchMe button is at best useless for job seekers and possibly even detrimental in their efforts of landing a job. In other words, Vizibility is a risk, not a benefit. And who wants to add a risk to his/her efforts in landing a job? Differentiating yourself is not always a good thing...

Thank you Marc for the review. My name is James Alexander and I am the founder of Vizibility. One of my main goals for starting the service was to help job seekers so your post was disappointing to read. And while I'm sure you it was not your intention, the implication of your recommendation not to use Vizibility is that all job seekers have something to hide. This is not fair to your readers.
Vizibility is helping thousands of people be more visible online. For job seekers, Vizibility helps them stand out in a crowded job market. Our users are taking their SearchMe links and putting them right on their resumes, in addition to their online profiles. This of course saves employers, recruiters and others wishing to learn more about them valuable time.
If you have negative content about you online it's going to be found regardless. There are services that can help try to remove or hide this content but that's not what Vizibility is about.
We want our users to be easily found in major search engines while ensuring the results can be trusted by those doing the searching. To have trusted search results, we deliberately take searchers to Google and show the search query you built in Vizibility. If we didn't do that, your results would be suspect. As such it should go without saying that a search should be constructed knowing that the query will be transparent.
This is not a negative...it's a huge plus. We think this provides more credibility to the job seekers who have Vizibility SearchMe links. And in today's competitive job market, anything you can do to differentiate yourself is a good thing.
