Profiel van een Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence Manager

Er is heeeeeeeel veel te lezen over het recruitmentvak. Voor mij zijn recruitmentvacatures een belangrijke bron om ontwikkelingen in het vak bij te houden. Waar sluiten nieuwe denkbeelden aan op vraag in de markt? Via een van mijn Indeed jobalerts kwam dit profiel onder mijn aandacht. Ik neem het vrijwel integraal over.

As the Talent Acquisition, Center of Excellence Manager, you’ll be responsible for the creation of acquisition strategies and tactics for our company which fulfills the talent demand and deepens the talent pipeline bench. The Talent Acquisition Strategy will be aligned to a specific pipeline; Direct to Consumer, Product Engines, Design, Commerce or Functions (IT, HR, Finance, etc.).  As the pipeline subject matter expert you’ll, use expert assessment skills to assess talent against core and functional pipeline competencies aligned to identified talent gaps and advocate for these priorities in the talent selection process.  You’ll ensure global recruiting partners in the field services organization are consistently measuring talent across the enterprise through the use of pipeline specific assessment tools and practices. 

Dat klinkt veel belovend een Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence, of is dit een andere benaming voor corporate recruitment shared services? Zo best kunnen, maar ik vind Center of Excellence veel aantrekkelijker klinken.

You’ll work to ensure the TA function utilizes consistent, scalable and sustainable practices and techniques in order to provide state-of-the-art recruiting expertise and stewardship to the organization, to ensure the right hi-potential, globally diverse talent at the right time. You’ll also build and maintain a thorough understanding of companies  business and leverage this acumen to create innovative fulfillment tactics that meet talent demand within your pipeline.  You’ll drive the Global Talent Acquisition Pipeline Strategy to geography Field Services partners responsible for partnering in the execution of the strategy. You’ll build and maintain expert global industry knowledge regarding the competitive marketplace and foster relationships with an extensive network of targeted prospects enhancing company’s connection with the industry’s leading diverse talent. In addition, you’ll own critical searches across geographies and affiliates.

De prioriteit is duidelijk: alle kandidaat pijplijnen wereldwijd vullen!

Requirements for the position include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or a relevant field
  • 10+ years’ progressive responsibility in Corporate Recruitment, Agency Recruitment (3rd Party Recruiting), Executive Search or a related field
  • 2 years’ additional experience in lieu of a degree
  • 3 years’ corporate functional recruiting experience in one of the following disciplines; Direct to Consumer, Product Engines, Design, Commerce or Functions
  • Experience with Global Talent Acquisition highly preferred
  • Ability to persuade, negotiate and influence decision makers across the organization
  • Excellent written/verbal communications skills
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and give presentations to senior management
  • 2 years’ experience in a cross functional people management role
  • Demonstrated project leadership and management experience, including business case development
  • Excellent time and program management skills
  • Detail-oriented and ability to creatively seek viable solutions to different situations
  • Experience cold-calling and direct sourcing for talent, including interviewing, negotiating and closing offers

Deze laatste snap ik even helemaal niet en doet mij twijfelen aan alles wat daarvoor is gesteld, dan wel laat zien dat je ook zelf de handen uit de mouwen steekt om talenten aan te trekken. Opvallend is dat er niets over social media e.d. staat. Naar mijn idee een goed teken. Dat is inmiddels, als het goed is, business as usual!
