The real reason hiring is broken is that it is run by humans. It is a minefield of bias, unqualified recruiters arbitrarily shortlist candidates and you get ghosted 90% of the time.
Founders: don’t confuse your fundraising pitch for your sales pitch.
Your fundraising pitch is to convince investors why the market is ripe for disruption and your approach and team is the right one to do it.
Your sales pitch is to convince your prospect that they have a huge problem that needs to be solved immediately – and your solution is the one to do it.
As an example, don’t tell your prospect “XYZ [your industry] is broken.”
Graag gedaan!
