After the seasonal dip in January, employer demand has been rising steadily […] this indicates that increasing recruitment activity is becoming increasingly important for employers
Mooi toch?
April saw unchanged conditions in online recruitment activity, suggesting employers are reluctant to hire as we approach summer
Today, the Monster Employment Index (MEI) for the month of May came out. The figures of this index are completely uninteresting, however the statements of Warren Hammond (General Manager Benelux) keep ensuring a surprise. The man, out of foolishness, no longer knows what he should say about the results.
This time, we can take down this statement of Hammond:
After the seasonal dip in January, employer demand has been rising steadily […] this indicates that increasing recruitment activity is becoming increasingly important for employers
Nice right? By the way, this statement is based on a sharp rise in the index. Last month, when the index did not change in comparison to March, Hammond said this:
April saw unchanged conditions in online recruitment activity, suggesting employers are reluctant to hire as we approach summer
