In de overvolle ATS markt is er maar een logische beweging mogelijk en dat is consolidatie. Hadden we begin van dit jaar de samenvoeging van Peopleclick met Authoria tot het weinig fantasievolle Peopleclick Authoria; vandaag is er dan de overname van MrTed door StepStone Solutions. En zo saneert de markt zichzelf; altijd een prettiger manier dan wanneer dat van buitenaf gebeurt.
Met de verkoop van MrTed casht oprichter en CEO Jerome Ternynck. Hij blijft aan als adviseur en zal mogelijk een earn-out periode hebben, maar verder kan hij zijn droge schaapjes gaan tellen. En StepStone Solutions doet waarschijnlijk weer haasje-over bij Peopleclick Authoria.
In the overcrowded ATS market, only one logical move is possible and that is consolidation Early this year we had the merger of Peopleclick with Authoria into the less than imaginative Peopleclick Authoria; today there is the acquisition of MrTed by StepStone Solutions. And so the market remediates itself; always a nicer way than when someone is doing so from the outside.
With the sale of MrTed, founder and CEO Jerome Ternynck, has cashed in. He will remain a consultant and will possibly have an earn-out period, but otherwise he can go relax on his island. And StepStone Solutions is likely to again leapfrog Peopleclick Authoria.
